FR Skates FRX 80 V2 Black are hard-shell inline skates for urban skating, freeride and learning freestyle moves. An accessible starting point in the FR range, they combine a supportive boot, a removable liner and rockerable frames for skaters who want to build their skills.
The hard shell, top buckle and wide powerstrap keep your feet securely in place, while the removable FR Comfort liner provides cushioning and can be taken out to air dry after skating.
Features and setup
- FR Downtown 80mm / 85A wheels: a versatile setup for everyday city skating.
- Lowered X3R rockerable 243mm frames: skate with a flat wheel setup or raise the front and rear wheels for easier pivoting during freestyle practice.
- FR Twincam MW7 Freeride bearings: included as standard.
- Removable FR Comfort liner: convenient for drying, cleaning and replacement.
- Customisation options: compatible FR colour kits and replacement components let you personalise your skates and replace worn parts. Check compatibility with the FRX V2 before ordering.
Choosing your size
The FRX 80 V2 runs small. Based on our customers’ feedback and size exchanges, we generally recommend choosing half to one size larger than your usual shoe size.
For a more accurate fit, measure both feet in millimetres and compare the longer measurement with the FR size chart. Shoe sizing varies between brands, so use your usual shoe size as a starting point.
The liner will soften and settle with use, but your toes should not be curled or painfully pressed against the front. If you’re unsure which size to choose, contact InMove Skates with your foot measurements before ordering.
Brake compatibility
A heel brake is not included. If you need one, choose the FR brake for 4-wheel X3R frames, sold separately. The standard FR brake is not compatible with this frame.

USM = US men’s size; USW = US women’s size. For example, USM 7 ≈ USW 8. Start with Measured foot (cm); MP is the size label and may differ from your foot measurement.
Shell size lists the skate sizes sharing one outer shell, not a foot-length range.
FR labels may show USM 11.5 instead of 11, or 13.5 instead of 13; the corresponding EU sizes are unchanged.
Compare the longer of your two foot measurements with the first column. This chart is a fit guide; available sizes are shown in the product’s size selector.
How to measure your feet
To find your correct size, first refer to your current shoe size. For a more accurate measurement, use this method:
Paper against the wall
Place a sheet of paper against a wall on a hard-surfaced floor.
Outline both feet
Place your heel against the wall and outline your feet one at a time.
Measure heel to toe
Measure the distance from heel to toe in centimeters. Use the longest measurement to match your best fit on the size chart above.
Check for proper fit
When trying on the skates the toes shouldn’t be pressed against the front of the skate and should lay flat. Toes can touch slightly the front of the skates, without pressure point.
