Compare FlyingEagle Collections
Flying Eagle’s urban hard-boot collections differ mainly in fit, liners, closures, frames and wheels. Start with the right fit, then compare the components and wheel setup that come with each model.
| Collection | Frames & wheels | Main differences |
|---|---|---|
| F4 | CORE aluminum frame with 80mm, 85A wheels. | Single-size mesh liner with a neoprene toe, plastic cuff buckle and aluminum 45° buckle. A straightforward four-wheel package with individually sized liners. |
| F6 | VOID aluminum frame with rockerable axles and Rampage 88A wheels. Wheel size is 76mm or 80mm, depending on boot size. | Multi-density LITE-FIT liner with lacing to the top, aluminum buckles and a 165/195mm mounting plate. The anniversary version combines these components with Gold or Titanium finishes. |
| X2 | CORE Lite aluminum frame with 76mm or 80mm, 85A wheels. | A value-focused package with a cushioned dual-size liner, heel shock absorber and aluminum 45° buckle. Standard 165mm mounting allows compatible frame replacements. |
| X3 | EGO Lite aluminum frame with rockerable end axles and 76mm or 80mm, 85A wheels. | Its key feature is adjustable rockering in an accessible package. The padded dual-size liner and heel shock absorber provide cushioning. |
| X5 | CORE aluminum frame with rockerable end axles and SHR 85A wheels. | More elaborate boot components: a multi-density liner with lacing to the top, aluminum cuff and 45° buckles, and replaceable side protection. Distinctive semi-transparent shell. |
| X6 | VOID aluminum frame with rockerable axles and 76mm or 80mm, SHR 85A wheels. | Reaver shell with a multi-density SUPERFIT liner, aluminum buckles and 165/195mm frame mounting. A useful comparison with X5 is the boot fit, liner and frame package. |
| X7 | S7680: SENSE frame and Rampage 88A wheels. XD8490: CORE Pro Dual frame with 84mm or 90mm wheels. T110: SUPERSONIC II frame with 3×110mm wheels. | SUPERFIT liner and Wings Pro bearings. The biggest choice within this collection is the frame: a compact four-wheel setup, a longer dual-configuration frame, or three large wheels. |
| B9 | BKB aluminum frame with 165mm mounting and 85A wheels. Frame length and wheel size vary with boot size. | Part of Flying Eagle’s budget BKB range. Removable dual-size liner and replaceable aluminum frame provide the core features at a lower equipment tier. |
| FBS | Aluminum frame supplied with smaller front and rear wheels, creating a rockered setup. | An affordable option with a dual-fit liner and aluminum buckles. Its supplied wheel arrangement makes turning easier; this is a meaningful difference when comparing it with a flat setup. |
Flat or rockered? A flat setup keeps all four wheels on the ground for a more planted feel. Rockering raises the front and rear wheels for easier turns. Rockerable axles let you change between these setups without buying smaller end wheels. Wheel diameter and frame length can vary with skate size. The X7 XD8490 CORE Pro Dual frame also supports a 3×100mm flat setup with separately purchased wheels.

Find Your Flying Eagle Size

Stand on paper
Place a sheet of paper against a wall on a hard, level floor. Stand on it with your heel gently touching the wall and your weight on the foot.
Measure in centimeters
Mark the tip of your longest toe. Measure the straight distance from the heel edge to the mark in centimeters (cm). Measure both feet and use the longer measurement.
Use the model’s size chart
Compare your foot length with the size chart in that product’s listing. Sizing can differ between models and liners.
Do not choose from everyday shoe size alone or add a full size by default. Match the longer foot measurement to the model’s chart; choose fit advice individually if you are between sizes or have wide feet.
- US
- US means US Unisex/Men, not US Women. Check the EU size and foot-length chart for that model.
- USW
- USW identifies US Women’s sizing when it is listed separately.
Unisex models can suit men, women and teenagers. Foot measurements and secure heel hold matter more than the label.
